About AusRoadAlerts & Independent Road Checks
An independent Australian road-check companion: its purpose, source coverage and clear distinction from official road authorities.
Built for the check before the drive
AusRoadAlerts organises official road sources into a personal pre-departure workflow. Select your regions, inspect available reports and source limitations, record your own official checks, and save or print a brief. It is not a government service, route planner or emergency alert system.
Independent publishing
This tool is provided by an independent publisher. Required publisher details appear in the legal notice, separately from road-source information.
What is—and is not—connected
There are profiles for all eight Australian states and mainland territories. The two named WA datasets and independent NSW, Victoria and Queensland connectors have source-check panels. NSW and Victoria require configured server keys; Queensland uses a shared public quota unless a dedicated key is configured. ACT, SA, Tasmania and NT remain official-source checks. An official link is never counted as a connected incident feed.
There are no subscriptions, accounts, payments, camera-image copies or claims of official partnership on this site. See coverage and attribution and the methodology for the actual limits.
